2.   Summary of project

 2.1Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

          The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) is the highest-ranking individual in a company or organisation. The CEO responsible for overall success of a business entity or other organization and for making top-level managerial decisions. The C.E.O also ultimate authority in making final decisions of a major decisions although they might ask for input. The C.E.O responsible for leading the development and execution of long term and short term strategies with the goal of increasing shareholder value. A C.E.O should be foremost to create, communicate and implement the vision, mission and overall direction of organization. To solve the issue of public mindset emerged recently which is self-development in term of learning is limited by age, the C.E.O of the Phoenix Educational Company should uphold the vision and mission of company in order to bring about effective and efficient strategies as well as plan. The C.E.O also formulate and implement the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or organization. In Phoenix Educational Centre, we provide variety of educational facilities and lessons which suitable for each population of age groups. By doing this, the students can be inspired to find their passions, talents, and continue the quest for personal growth in all aspects. The C.E.O also always looking at potential acquisitions or the sale of the company under circumstances that will enhance shareholder value. The C.E.O also leading and guiding and evaluating executive leaders in the company by. It is the responsible of the C.E.O to ensure the leadership of organization maintains a both external and internal competitive constant awareness of  customer base, markets, new industry developments and standards of company directly create a company that will grow and flourish. The C.E.O also soliciting advice and guidance when appropriate from the Board of Directors.

2.2 Logistics department

          Logistic department responsible for the convenient facilities and classroom. We make sure all the classrooms are provided with air-conditioner which give a pleasant and comfortable condition for the students. The classroom also have been set up with Ipad or tablets and flexible furniture and space to allow the students having a 21st century learning. Logistics department also ensure the facilities like swimming pool, fields and equipment for training are in a pleasurable condition. Besides, the syllabus for every subjects already planned with the teachers to assure it fits with the students. A few meetings in logistics departments were arranged to discuss about the syllabus of every subjects. Our departments also referred to the professional in each subjects to have a better quality in education. We also arranged the transportation for the kindergarten students by providing a bus which pick up them from their home as the parents unavailable to send them to our schools due to work and others reason. 

       2.3 Marketing department

          Even the nature of higher education has transformed in the process. The newly created jobs demand a certain specialised skill-sets from the employees, which can be delivered only by educational institutions such as ours, Phoenix educational center. Over the coming three years, the business can and will expand to reach thousands of students and other age people with dozens of teachers and trainers. It will do this through rebranding and redevelopment of some basic marketing materials, a systematic referral program for customers and businesses, care with customer satisfaction, and a focus on marketing training for all employees. Marketing will be a total activity and not just one area of what the company does. Some tactical goals that have been planned under marketing department of Phoenix educational center are to achieve over 140 customer testimonials in 2026 and hire total of 15 new full-time staff over next two years after the completion of the project. Moreover, gathering media attention immediately once the project started till to the end of the project. This is perhaps the most effective way for writing pitches for our educational center. In order to stay on the top of the news, a critical understanding of the latest developments in the higher education sector needed. Following the latest news and acting upon it by targeted customers helps to stay ahead of others in our project’s endeavors.

       2.4 Financial Department

          Our company’s financial analysis include the analysis of our situation in various aspects and areas. To perform this type of evaluation several methods have been used. One of the most used method is the analysis of ratios. This method reflects the calculation of various ratios or indicators, based on values of the main items accounting statements. Nevertheless, this method has some limitations derived from purely quantitative perspective used and must therefore be complemented with more qualitative assessment in terms of management. We did some risk assessment of the client and highlight the risk mitigation initiatives. Moreover, the other method is the return on sales. This ratio is used to evaluate a company’s operational efficiency and provide insight into how much profit being produced. The higher the value of this ratio, the greater the contribution of each unit sold for the formation of the results. We assumed that this indicator became positive from the third year. Furthermore, the margin of safety which is a measure of business risk. It represents the percentage by which a company’s sales can drop before it starts incurring losses. The company will have a security to operate above zero return operation with the safety margin value. The lower the safety margin, the greater the economic risk, because if it is close to the critical point. For this project, it is estimated that from the first year the margin of safety margin will be greater than zero and increasing. In addition, the coverage of the financial burden is a ratio that measures the degree to the results before interest and amortization, financial charges cover. The degree of financial leverage is a leverage ratio that measures the sensitivity of a company’s earnings per share to fluctuations in its operating income, as a result of changes in its capital structure. This indicates that the higher the degree of financial leverage, more volatile earnings will be. Our company will use more financial leverage and this will increase the return on equity increasing the amount of debt capital relative to the equity. We will also distribute idle cash to shareholders to boost the return on equity. Besides that, the acceptable credit limit is provided based on the history of client’s standing performance in the relevant industry. We are planned to request the client to provide certain form of guarantee letters in order to safe guards the future receivables. Our Phoenix educational center honour the client with competitive pricing and create win-win situation based on the client’s requirement on the fixed or variable cost which optimum saving can be withhold.

       2.5 Human resource department

          The most indispensable segment in a company is definitely its employees. The human capital serves as ambassador in an organization as they put procedures into real practice. Thus, the human resources department serves as a very significant part that contributes to organizational success since them mainly responsible for strategically managing and maintaining the workforce as they oversee the people in the organization and delivers HR services that meet the needs of both the company and its employees. The working environment and culture in Phoenix education center is also ‘employee-friendly’ as we consider employees as human assets and not costs to the organization. In this company, we highlight the ideal working environment which centered around on working as a team allows everyone’s talents to nourish, self-development of employees can be upgraded by attending training course which providing golden opportunities for employee growth and advancement. Employee’s benefits and safety always come under the priority realm of the HR department. For example, health and safety legislation, insurance, employee safety training workplace safety and so on are maintained and keep up-to-date.  Good and reasonable incentives and compensation are provided to ensure employees always keep motivated. In order to get adequate workforce to run company efficiency, human resources invest in advertisements and attractive job postings, so that the company can be well-known to general public. As the new modern era with advanced electronic gadgets is being utilized in people’s daily lives, they tend to absorb latest information online instead of traditional methods such as newspaper and magazines, and hence, more online advertisement will considered as well as roadside posters and hand-in flyers. The first 5 years premium targets after this project started under human resources department are to recruit above 100 management and administration full-time employees as well as 60 capable teachers for a systematic and business-like workforce of organization. 

3. Location

 

          This project will be located at Jalan Uk 2A/40A Damansara Indah 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The total area made available to Phoenix Educational Centre is about eight (8) hectares and this will be used for constructions of buildings, basketball, netball court, football pitch, swimming pool, long green areas and gardens land is not a problem around the area and if the school will need more land it will have to apply and it will not be difficult at all to be allocated such land. This location is chosen because there is not many educational centre in that area and it is located only 30 metres away from the residential area of Damansara Indah, Petaling Jaya.

4. Target customers

          Since our educational centre has no age limit, the target community will be children, adolenscents, adults and also elderly people. The children who are currently attending Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School, as well as all adults and elderly who are living in Petaling Jaya Community who need to improve their educational level and also their interest in extra-curricular activities.

          Professional teachers would be appointed according to the syllabus provided by the Ministry of Education Malaysia and Vocational training. For extracurricular activities, professional coaches would be appointed too.
